We are living in the stunningly beautiful Western Highlands of Honduras in a town called Santa Rosa de Copán. It is the capital of its department, Copán. We are about 2.5 hours from the nearest airport in San Pedro Sula and we are located 5-6 hours from Tegucigulpa.
You should come visit us!! There's lots to do and see. We're a short driving distance from El Salvador and Guatemala. We are less than 2 hours from the Mayan Copan Ruins, as well as the tallest mountain in Central America, Celaque. We are about a 6 hour drive from La Ceiba, where you can catch a ferry and go to the island of Roatan. On the western end of the North Shore you can catch a ferry to Belize.
